”The visit today was pleasant, there is a happy atmosphere at your home and that is very reassuring.  You are a good working team and with a relaxed style which helps us all”.

”Well done Nicky in your new role.  The home is looking lovely, clean and fresh and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere!”.

“Thank you for supporting my Father especially after he was admitted to hospital and working hard adapting his room and liaising with health professionals to bring him back home”

”I enjoy volunteering at Asher Care, which gives me a great feeling of satisfaction.  I’ve had lots of laughs with the residents, so to me it’s a real pleasure to come in and see them”.

”Thank you for another year of care, kindness and patience with Mum.  It gives us all peach of mind to know she is well looked after”.

“I simply want to say ‘thank you’ for looking after my friend so well which is a great relief to me when I felt I couldn’t look after her anymore at home. I was so worried that she would not be cared for kindly, but I need not have been, you are all so good to her and she responds well to that, again thank you”

Nicky, Manager:
“I have worked at Asher Care for 18 years and have seen many changes over those years.  I started working nights as a Care Assistant, then I took on the role of Senior Carer.  Sometime later I was promoted to Senior Team Leader and then Assistant Manager.  I am excited now to have recently taken on the role of Home Manager.

The home has improved and become more efficient and is a happy place to work.  I feel that the owners are always open to new ideas and suggestions, listening to the staff, residents and their family members. We are regularly updating and improving areas within the home and have refurbished almost of all the rooms and to a high standard.  There are opportunities for new staff members to become part of a motivated team and to further their career in care.  I feel that the team of staff are friendly, kind and supportive, putting the residents health and interest as their number one priority”.
